What is Money Matters?
Money Matters is a mobile financial readiness application developed by Army OneSource and is managed by the US Army Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Command (FMWRC). The goal is to motivate, educate and support Active Duty and Reserve Army Soldiers and their Families to save and plan for the future. Money Matters supports the financial focus area of Army OneSource by partnering with the Military Saves Campaign and encourages you to take the Military Saves Pledge.
What is Army OneSource?
The purpose of Army OneSource (AOS) is to standardize Soldier and Family support programs and service delivery regardless of component or geographical location.
It is a comprehensive multi-component approach to community support and service delivery. AOS provides geographically dispersed service members and their Families three ways to access services. In addition to the traditional brick and mortar establishments on installations, AOS provides access to services through a web based portal, and through services delivered by community partners and other government organizations.
Outreach to community organizations is initiated by AOS Community Support Coordinators (CSCs). Partnership with community organizations provides an extension to the services traditionally offered by garrison programs. The initiative builds and sustains community partnerships within four focus areas - behavioral health, faith, legal and financial.

What is Military Saves?
Military Saves is an ongoing Department of Defense (DoD) Campaign to encourage Soldiers, their Families, and other service members to establish solid fiscal management habits through savings, debt reduction and financial planning.
As a Military Saver you will join a supportive environment in which Soldiers and their Families can develop habits that lead to financial stability. You will have the option to receive useful newsletters, tools and information. If enough Soldiers, Family members, retirees, veterans, and organizations across the military join Military Saves' ongoing effort, the entire military culture will be changed into a saving community!
The Saver Pledge
"I will help myself by saving money, reducing debt, and building wealth over time. I will help my family and my country by encouraging other Americans to Build Wealth, Not Debt."
