Army Spouses at WorkMilitary Spouses are the cornerstone of support for Soldiers and their Families.

That's why the Army is dedicated to helping our spouses by offering a variety of job preparation and job search programs. Here Army spouses can find help with interviewing tips, resume creation, and other information through a variety of discussion groups. Military spouses are provided with the tools to advance their career through further education, career assessment aid to help focus on their employment future, and information about the wide range of military benefits that are available to our Army spouses.

Military Spouse Employment Partnership

Military Spouse Employment PartnershipBesides managing deployments, military spouses sometimes have a hard time building careers because of frequent relocations.

The Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP) helps spouses find rewarding work through partnerships with national companies who agree to allow the military spouse the option of taking their job with them when they move to a new duty station. The Employment Readiness Program provides job search training, help with resumes and interviewing.

Military Spouse Job SearchThe Military Spouse Job Search website is an association page of America's Job Exchange (AJE). This website connects military spouses not only to the Army Spouse Employment Partners (ASEP) but to the thousands of registered AJE military spouse-friendly employers who are searching to fill their job openings everyday. Submit your resumes and let the employers know you are a military spouse when you register!

Officials are hoping efforts to address military spouses’ ongoing issues with obtaining occupational licenses after a move will help to remove career barriers and reduce an unemployment rate that’s consistently higher than that of their civilian-life counterparts.
