Join the U.S. Army Military District of Washington as we celebrate the return of Spirit of America, a highly visual, live-action U.S. Army show taking place September 12 and 13 at TD Garden in Boston, Mass., September 19 and 20 at the Times Union Center, Albany, N.Y. and September 26 and 27 at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pa.

Watch as Soldiers bring history to life with this year's Spirit of America performance. Told by today's Soldiers, Spirit of America captures the true stories of those who have answered the call to duty for our nation and pays tribute to the sacrifices and triumphs of the American Soldier.

During the show, Soldiers in historical uniforms re-enact key moments in the U.S. Army and American history. The re-enactments include battle scenes with short periods of simulated gunfire and performances by the Army's elite ceremonial units.

The show features the U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own" and Soldiers from the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), the oldest active-duty infantry unit in the Army. Elements of The Old Guard include The U.S. Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, the Caisson Platoon, the Commander-in-Chief's Guard, the Continental Color Guard and the U.S. Army Drill Team.

Be sure to connect and share your photos and experiences with Spirit of America by using #SOA2014 on the Twitter and Facebook pages posted in the related links section. Although Spirit of America is FREE, you must obtain a ticket for the location, date and time you wish to attend. For details visit - spiritofamerica.mdw.army.mil
