Since 1986, Ms. Reisch has lovingly provided over 4200 hours of volunteer service to the military community at Fort Knox and overseas while serving with her military spouse. Kyu began her volunteer service with Army Community Service (ACS) in June 1986 as a Korean translator, having completed 98 hours before transferring with her husband to Bamberg, Germany. She continued to serve in ACS completing 154 hours while also volunteering with the Bamberg Recreation Center and the Family Support Group of 2nd Armored Cavalry Div, where she received the Order of the Yellow Ribbon. Kyu and her husband returned to Fort Knox where she continued her ACS service as a translator in July 1989.
