How and when should an individual salute the colors?

Answer:
Uniformed personnel are expected to salute the colors when passing by in a parade or during the rising or lowering of the flag. Civilian personnel should place their right hand over their hearts at these times to honor our nation.

Question:
What are the etiquette rules for wearing gloves to a social event?

Answer:
If you wear gloves, you should remove them before eating, drinking, or smoking. What about shaking hands?

What information should be included on any type of invitation?

Answer:
Every invitation should include the following: type of event, host's name, day and date, time, location, how guests are to respond (RSVP), proper dress code for the event, and map or directions to the event if necessary.

What is Army protocol and how is it different from civilian social etiquette?

Answer:
Army protocol is a combination of etiquette and good manners blended with the rich heritage of traditions and courtesies of military life and is designed to let us know what to expect in a given situation.

The appropriate dress for a Brunch is a dress, suit, or dress slacks.

Answer:

Answer:
The appropriate dress for a Reception in the morning is a suit or tailored dress; early to mid-afternoon is a dressy dress or suit (can be long); evening (after 1800) dressy dress (note - usually the later the hour the more formal the dress).
