A group of 24 military and civilian volunteers from Program Executive Office Soldier helped terminally ill children and their families experience night vision and Soldier protective equipment as part of United Airlines 21st annual Fantasy Flight, Dec. 7, at Dulles International Airport.

OPM Details Great Strides in Hiring People with Disabilities

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) announced that in Fiscal Year (FY) 2012, people with disabilities were hired at a higher percentage than at any point in the past 32 years. Additionally, people with targeted disabilities were hired at a higher percentage than at any time in the past 17 years. This success has also led to more people with disabilities serving in federal service than at any time in the past 32 years.

All-American Bowl teams meet for first time, ready themselves for game

East and West 2014 U.S. Army All-American Bowl Teams met each other on the field for the first time at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

The American Family Insurance Dream Challenge pits the East vs. the West and six Soldier mentors against each other in multiple events including quarterback throws, a sled push and an obstacle course.
