PDF stands for Portable Document Format.

The WWW uses a browser to interpret the HTML markup language and present the Web page to you.

• Your monitor settings and other factors cause the page to be displayed a certain way on your computer screen.
• Someone else may have different settings, and the Web page would display differently for them.
