Identity Theft
What is identity theft?
- Whenever someone else uses your identity, to
either commit fraud or some other criminal activity…that is
considered identity theft.
- Identity theft can be of a financial nature, where
your identity is used to defraud you or others
of money, or of a criminal nature, where your identity is stolen
so it can be used to carry out some criminal act.
