Online auctions

On-line auctions are popular ways to find and purchase items online.

They work differently than the regular online store environment, though some major merchants have begun offering products through auction sites.

• You can buy everything from land and real estate, to memorabilia, to pet supplies.

Most items are listed for sale for a certain period of time. You can bid until the time is up. The highest bidder usually gets the item, unless a specified minimum bid hasn't been met.
