Passwords...

Passwords are another way to protect yourself and your information.

  • Many sites require user names and passwords to access secure areas.

Passwords give you your own account with that site. They are a great defense against unauthorized access, but they are only as good as you make them.

If you use a common code, such as a birth date or your social security number, others trying to access your information can easily guess them.
