Chat rooms are great places to encourage interactions and get to know people, but you need to be smart when you use them.

Because of a person's ability to be anonymous while engaging in on-line communication, chat rooms are notorious for drawing the unscrupulous.

However, if you are careful, you can have a wonderful experience in a chat room.
