Netiquette

Netiquette is etiquette for the Internet.

Just as there are codes of conduct in the physical world, netiquette serves to provide the codes of conduct in the virtual world.

They apply to any on-line interactions you may have with others, including through the use of e-mail, newsgroups, instant messages, and chat rooms.

It takes a while to learn these rules for the road, so expect to make mistakes along the way. It’s all part of the learning process.
