Lesson 3:
Configuring Your E-mail Program

Whether you use a client-based or Web-based e-mail program, to send and receive e-mail, you need an account on a mail server. This provides you with your mailbox.

If you have a local or national ISP, you should have received one or more e-mail addresses with your account.

The ISP normally provides a configuration disk that helps you set up your account, or you might complete an agreement at a local store when you sign up for ISP service.
