Web weaving

The WWW is made up of electronic documents called Web pages.

These pages are part of a Web site, which can contain one or more web pages that relate to a common subject. You would call a web site's main page the site's home page.

Web sites are hosted on Web servers located all over the world. Just because a company is based in Wichita, doesn't mean that company's web site must be hosted or stored on a web server in Wichita. The WWW connects servers all over the globe.
