Web Browsers

Web browsers are the software programs that let you access the Internet, especially the World Wide Web.

There are several browsers on the market.

• Two of the best-known browsers are Microsoft® Internet Explorer (IE) and Netscape Communication Corporation's Netscape®.
• Other browsers with similar features include Opera, Safari for Mac® computers, and Mozilla.
