Alternative Internet Connection Devices

Other than a PC

A PC is only one device used to access the Internet. There are others that are tool-specific or used for one or two particular purposes. Some examples are:

• Web-TV is a product that allows you to surf the Web or e-mail others using your television and Web-TV service.
• E-mail messaging stations are stand-alone products that plug into a phone jack. You subscribe to an e-mail service which provides your dial-up connection.
