DSL is another option for high-speed Internet access. For home use, it is similar to cable in terms of its speed.

DSL uses your existing phone line to access the Internet.

• An inline filter connected to the phone jack separates your voice traffic (talking on the phone) from your data traffic (surfing the web), allowing you to do both at the same time.
