Ways to Connect: Broadband - Cable

Newer technology has allowed for faster Internet connections from home. Remember, though, that the faster the connection, the more costly the option.

These alternatives to dial-up are collectively referred to as broadband or high-speed Internet access. Broadband is an always on connection and doesn't require dialing up the Internet to connect.

You use either special channels in your home's phone line or your cable or satellite television's service to access these higher-speeds.
