Lesson 3:
Online Job Searches

If you are looking for work, or just interested in seeing what kinds of jobs are currently hot in the labor market, you can get help on the Internet.

  • There are many local and national online job sites. Most city newspapers have an online help wanted section.

Reading ads is normally free. You can search by skill area or other criteria.

  • Posting ads usually cost money. Companies pay to post help wanted ads, just as they would in the newspaper.
