Natasha Robinson of Ft. Hood, TX is one of five Very Important Patriot Award of Merit winners. The recipients of the Award of Merit receive --> 00. We applaud this exceptional youth volunteer!

Natasha is recognized in the Ft. Hood community as a youth who serves her community with enthusiasm and selfless dedication. As a standout member of the Teen Forum and Youth Action Council, she was selected to participate in a conference on teen issues in Colorado. While in Colorado she captivated the audience as she articulated issues concerning the nation's youth.

Natasha is an active member of the Character Counts Coalition. She uses her talents in the coalition to instruct younger peers on the six pillars of character: caring, citizenship, trustworthiness, responsibility, respect and honesty.

She not only gives her time to youth concerns, but has supervised other young volunteers during the preparation and serving of a special Mother's Day dinner for the elderly mothers of her community, and is a regular volunteer in a local Mission Soup Kitchen. She is involved in America's Promise, is a Fisher House volunteer and served the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and the Killeen Food/Clothing Center.

Natasha is an example to all she meets, both young and old, of the true volunteer spirit that makes her a Very Important Patriot. Natasha, we salute you!
