1998 – Aisley M. Stephenson, Fort McClellan, GA

Ms. Aisley M. Stephenson was nominated by the United States Army Training and Doctrine Command for her service in many ACS programs at Fort McClellan. Ms. Stephenson provided 3,862 hours of dedicated service to the Fort McClellan ACS since 1979. One of her major roles as a volunteer is in the Family Advocacy Program where she serves as the Baby Bundles Chairperson. Ms. Stephenson prepares these packages for the appropriate sex and season. In addition, she ensures each bundle will have a personal touch by including handmade items such as blankets or booties made by her volunteers. Ms. Stephenson's organizational skills and attention to detail are instrumental to the success of the program that provided Baby Bundles to over 1,000 families. Ms. Stephenson’s caring support of others and her superb leadership is a common thread throughout her community work.

In addition to her service at ASC, Ms Stephenson volunteers at the NCO/EM Wives’ Club, the Red Cross and the Noble Army Health Clinic.
