Ms. Kay J. O'Dea

Emma Marie Baird Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service

1992- Ms. Kay J. O'Dea, Fort Riley, Kansas

Mrs. Kay J. O'Dea is commended for her extraordinary volunteer contributions to the United States Army during the period 1984 to 1991. At present she serves as the volunteer supervisor in Army Community Service at Fort Riley, Kansas and has held this position previously at Fort Carson, Colorado where she contributed immeasurably to the support and development of family related programs. Her work significantly aided the initiation, development and enhancement of several key initiatives in the family action area. Mrs. O'Dea's concern for the welfare of the Army family, her interest in programs to support it, and generous contribution of her time and effort have greatly assisted the Army communities of Augsberg, Germany, SHAPE Headquarters, Belgium, Fort Carson, Colorado and Fort Riley, Kansas.

The historical files have little information on this LTC Emma Marie Baird recipient.
