Mobilization and Deployment

Managing Deployment Intro

Welcome to Mobilization and Deployment! Our mission is to provide information and assistance to Soldiers and Family members to maintain individual readiness throughout the entire deployment cycle. Deployments can be challenging—a highly emotional and stressful event for both Soldiers and Families. Fortunately, Mobilization and Deployment is here to provide guidance, resources and training for Mobilization and Deployment Readinessall; Soldiers, Family members, to include parents, Family Readiness Group members and Rear Detachment cadre at all points of the Army Force Generation (ARFORGEN) cycle. Whether supporting deploying units by providing pre-deployment information and material to Soldiers and Family members, to providing reintegration and RESET training to Soldiers and Family members as they reconstitute their Family unit, the Mobilization and Deployment Team is here to support you! Just like the Army Family, Mobilization and Deployment is Always Ready for our Soldiers and their Families.

Managing Deployment Resources

Deployment Resources
Operation READY Rear Detachment Commander Course Taking Care of Business PDHealth
Operation READY is a training and information resource which was developed and updated after the Persian Gulf War, from lessons learned in deployment to Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)/Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). This valuable training opportunity puts the necessary RDC knowledge, skills, and abilities on your desktop, without having to enter a classroom. The purpose of this training is to offer training to future or current RDCs, no matter their locations or their schedules. This training allows participants the opportunity to certify their knowledge, skills, and abilities in areas vital to RDC success. It is important to make the necessary arrangements to ensure that your loved ones and family will be taken care of if the worst should happen. It is a difficult subject to discuss, but may be one of the most important discussions a Soldier can have with those they love. The "Taking Care of Business" video explains which forms and what documents a Soldier should complete to ensure their final wishes are observed. PDHealth.mil was designed to assist clinicians in the delivery of post-deployment healthcare by fostering a trusting partnership between military men and women, veterans, their families, and their healthcare providers to ensure the highest quality care for those who make sacrifices in the world's most hazardous workplace.
