Community Based Programs

National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies (NACCRRA)

NACCRRANACCRRA partners with the Army to provide high-quality, affordable child care through various programs:

Operation: Military Child Care (OMCC) – Provides assistance for deployed parents. Available on- and off-post. Fee reductions available for eligible Families. For more information, call1-800-424-2246

Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood (MCCYN) – Helps locate high-quality child care options in local communities and subsidizes the cost.

Army Child Care in Your Neighborhood (ACCYN) – Identifies, develops, and sustains Army-affiliated, community-based child care, comparable in quality and affordability to the care available on-post. Through NACCRRA, the Army subsidizes costs so parents using ACCYN spaces pay fees similar to on-post users.

For Wounded Warriors – In partnership with the Department of Defense (DoD), NACCRRA provides Families of severely injured military members with assistance to find and pay for safe, licensed child care services for a period of six months during their recuperation.
