Introducing the New AFTB Level I Training!

A new and enhanced version of the AFTB Level I Training is here!

AFTB Training Level 1

For those who have taken the course, or are in the middle of taking it, please note:

  • If you’ve already completed the Level I course, you will not need to take the course again.
  • If you’ve already completed one or more lessons in the course, you will not need to take the lessons again.
  • If you’ve only partially completed a lesson in the course, you will need to start that lesson (not the course) over from the beginning.

Please let us know if you have any comments or feedback by clicking the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of every page.

Regards,

The Army OneSource Team

What can you expect in the new training?

A Friendly Face

An avatar hostess will introduce and guide you through each lesson. She narrates each screen, though the audio may be turned off if you prefer to read the lesson without narration. Additional avatars act out real-life scenarios. What does all this mean? For one, lessons will be more interesting. But they will also help you to pick up the ideas--no matter what your learning style.

An Improved Look

A picture is worth a thousand words. That´s why new and improved graphics are featured on nearly every screen in the lessons. Photographs illustrate how the lessons apply to real Soldiers and Families, while charts and other graphics help to drive home main ideas and difficult concepts. And as an added benefit, the lessons just look better (if we do say so ourselves).

Fun Challenges

How can you test whether or not the lesson is helpful? The challenges built into each lesson will help ensure that you are gleaning key information, and are able to apply it to Army life. Multiple-choice questions, matching, and true-false exercises test your comprehension. Enactments of real-life scenarios ensure that you can apply this knowledge in your day-to-day life. And with avatars acting out different roles, you´ll have fun while you learn.
